Normally i know that you are chess expert on demonstrating the weakness of my Perfect books, but now i see even you have more talents...
And soon there will be new release:Perfect 2010 book-that's why keep your efforts and don't waste your time for other things,be in energy...
because criticism is not so easy as it looks !
One thing more, such super chess book expert as you, should have minimum 2800-2900 elo on Playchess, but unfortunately (my last check) you was 300-400 elo less
Last:Instead of criticising me,go and learn something new ideas, variations on opening books and then give your super strong books to public, where people can benefit from that.
I need not talk here about Opening Books.
We can gladly do it, but please then in an another Thread.
About my Accounts on playchess I can say only that:
I have 3 accounts (EduardNemeth, Solist and Wolkenlos).
I am playing on playchess with only an Core 2 Duo 2.66 GHz PC
with 2 GM RAM.
My Computerchess Blitz Ratings on playchess in moment:
"EduardNemeth" have 2721 points
"Solist" have 2545 pints
"Wolkenlos" have 2585 points
I belive that is not bad with an Core 2 Duo 2.66 GHz,
and of course I played all games only with my own book.
PS: I have created an Opening Book for Engine Onno in 2009.
PS2: My newest and strongest Book, I will not released it for free.
In my opinion his 2721 elo rating is done maybe 5-6 years before (when Rybka was not born)
Normally i have very useful and reliable playchess ratings which are calculated with Bayeselo chess program (minimum 100 games per player)
And as far as remember i did noticed his rating even to be in Top 100 Playchess players so far
Note:from my experience i can say,its very hard to hold always 2800-2900 elo in Playchess,EVEN IF YOU HAVE A SUPER FAST MACHINE
I'm not sure when Eduardo got the 2721. If it was a long time ago, it should be pretty easy to tell, because many of the opponents will no longer exist. But I don't think Eduardo would make this kind of claim.
But anyway, the best way to evaluate book strength looking at games on CB is to look at the scores on book exit using your own engine. That way, you're not biased by speed kills where the faster engine wins off of a weak opening because they are using a faster machine or a better engine. I suspect that people like Nelson use this technique to evaluate openings from guys like Eros, who frequently play with weak engines and weak hardware. I would certainly take this opportunity to castigate Eros for this sleazy behavior if I wasn't doing the same thing myself! :-D
> That way, you're not biased by speed kills where the faster engine wins off of a weak opening because they are using a faster machine or a better engine
The whole 1.h3 movement was a result of precisely this. Someone with a much faster machine could attain a very high success rate with an unsound line and build up a book of thousands of games before the collectors could begin to catch up.
My book ELO-adjusts empirical results. It isn't perfect for a lot of reasons but it is definitely better than nothing. 1.h3, for example, is 58.9% successful in my book unadjusted, but 53.2% after adjusting, which is -0.9% below the mean for all openings. Interestingly, 1.e4 has a +1.4% higher unadjusted success rate than 1.d4, but after adjusting 1.d4 is the top-scoring opening move, beating 1.e4 by +0.6%. It's a huge swing considering the millions of games that have been played. And who would guess that 1.c4 is second-best with the lowest drawing tendency of the four most popular opening moves?
Oh, you don't want to know how 1.b3 rates. You don't, trust me.
The lower it rates, the happier I would be, so I take this as very good news. I run a slow computer with an obsolete engine with very high contempt to satisfy two divergent requirements in the CB engine room:
1) Keep win rate as low as possible, consistent with #2,
2) Keep win rate high enough stay at ~2500 Elo (i.e. within 300 of the top engines).
If I wake up in the morning, and my engine is at 2400, it's ok, but I'll cull some bad lines to raise it. If I wake up and my engine is above 2700, it's a disaster and I will start playing Byrd's opening or other such stuff. I have been very happy with the results of this experiment, with many people happy to play lines that are very good for white, but which lose with an engine/computer setup that is giving up 200+ Elo. This is both much more convenient, and much easier than resigning in won positions.
Of course I can't directly know how this is affecting the database crowd, but I'm hoping it is influencing their results. If you can give me any advice on making my openings look even worse in your evaluations, I would certainly appreciate the advice!
> I'm not sure when Eduardo got the 2721. If it was a long time ago,
Playchess own elo calculation rating does not make sense FOR ME,i mean for measuring the best players on the server.
The best methods for calculation the Playchess ratings are Bayeselo or Elostat programs
For example,i played a few months ago and reached even with Zappa:2731 elo,
but it does not mean that Zappa is one the top players on Playchess server.
Note:that was with a new account, where all games are played only by Zappa Mexico II+Perfect 16 book
And with Bayeselo calculation program it scored unfortunately at 224 place:
Rank Name Elo + - games score oppo. draws
224 SedatChess4, Zappa Mexico II 3216 28 28 404 55% 3181 42%

Anyway, most people know yours books are excellent, so the engine room verification is interesting, but not essential.
1. You have that, what I have written in German here,
2. I want nothing from you. OK?
3. Your reputation does not interest me. Whether it is good or even better,
this is me the same.
4. I am more than 10 years (Internet only) in this scene here.
And you want me to teach? No, thanks.
You make me sorry,
>I want nothing from you. OK?
Ok...can you do a favour for me (it will be first and last):
-Just stay far from me,dont use my name and my books
Thanks in advance,
yes, there were 8-10 e-mail accounts (by his 2 sons and 3 son of sons) now deleted
he gives R4 not to an other person (neither to his sons...)
he blames an other account/avatar (not one of him) to be the leak
he has problems with high blood pressure (hypertension) at now
he is banned from rybka forum and therefore can give no answer
he missed to apologize for blaming Sedat but hopes, Sedat will forgive him
I don´t want to comment, only information (audiatur et altera pars)
> he gives R4 not to an other person (neither to his sons...)
Thus his son takes it himself without the permission.
The real proof of whether it came from Harry's computer is can the leak be traced to Frankfurt (from the upload site cooperating) and how many beta testers live there or near there.
>he gives R4 not to an other person (neither to his sons...) <
How probable is that? In his logic he has 5 kids who are extremely chess interested and who waited for R4 like all of us. Now the somewhat old-aged HS got the version and the kids all remain in their closet, again how probable is such a foolish scenario. No, it doesnt make sense. You must be a native German speaker with some expertise of psychiatry and then you can see the whole problem. This isnt a problem of old age but of a typical disorder where someone is amused that finally he can call himself a coward in public! Just check some of his messages there. BTW he's not the only one ...
>There isn't any proof that Harry has indeed sons or grandsons
but there is even no proof that he has no sons....
phone book of Frankfurt lists Harry Schnapp (inclusive Addr.) and two male Florin and Stefan Schnapp. It is likely that there are real persons.
The behaviour of HS fits to an old person, who´s physical state is not good, and mentally he acts as deep offended. He gives his opening books for free (i suppose, to receive increased acceptance) and it makes little sense for him to risk that status by sabotaging rybka team.
