You are welcome Brandon...:)
Btw,i prefer to test no more than 15 books, otherwise the tourney will take a lot of time
Note:I plan (for the next SCCT II) to be finished in 2-3 days,so the number of the rounds will depend on the number of the participants

5 minutes seems to be ok.
I agree.. I think 16+0 starts to place more importance on the engine's analysis, rather than the opening book. At 5+0 your game is directly related to your opening.. with 16+0, the engine can start to deviate quite a bit from what you intended with the opening.
I'd like 10 0 best, but I guess 5 0 is closer to that.
I have contributed my $22 profit from the last tournament. We're up to $72 in prizes.
Thanks a lot for the donation Nelson !

Paypal bastards! They clipped me, too! Now I am in the hole a dollar and change!
So I should take that as an official confirmation that Iconoclast will be participating? :)
I am working on Iconoclast II, and you can take this to the bank: if it appears, it won't play anything like the last version. Stick and move. Jab and feint. About the only thing you can be sure of is that it won't play the same lines.
I like this, I assume all people currently building lines against Iconoclast (the old strategy to win future tourneys) are wasting their time now?!
Yes, I assume so.. Nelson made it clear in the original prize tournament thread that he would be close to "tune" proof, at least where previously played games were concerned. I basically ignored all of Iconoclasts games, for that reason.. No offense, Nelson. :)
Not necessarily! There may be imitators! That's the beauty of getting out of the B90 rut. If enough people do it, but in different and unpredictable lines, and they know what they are doing, you really have a chess tournament. That said, inertia is one of the most powerful forces in the universe. The way to bet, if you are trying to win, is to play B90 and try to out-do Adriean's preparation. Good luck with that. I think he proved he's pretty good at the B90 game.
No enthusiasm this time? where are other book authors? No reply?
Busy working on B90, I assume.. :)
I'll be in the tournament for sure!

I am trying to extract B90 from old days. Very precious very
i am working on a Book that completly avoids B90 :P
hope it does good this time :S

Thanks Sedat!
Regardless of the time controls, I still plan on giving Nelson a good beating. :)

If everyone is equally clever this will be a wild tournament. If too many zombie bookmakers enter it won't matter how you play against me. Neither of us will win.
I have already prepared way more for this tournament than the last one. I hope I have enough time to finish the prep before the deadline. It will be close. I am shooting for a 50% success rate with black, which will be quite a challenge given the routes I have chosen.

I've taken some very challenging routes as well.. If I'm not careful it could end up costing me dearly.
I think I'll have spent about 3 weeks on this book by the time it's submitted to Sedat.
I'm looking forward to this.. Much more interesting taking the less-traveled path, but MUCH more work involved.
Hopefully it'll pay off!

I intend to register, Sedat. I'm struggling to complete my preparations. So far my new book is performing mediocre at best. I think I was too ambitious; it is not easy to change one opening system let alone two! There are just too many exploitable holes to cover and there is not enough time. Look for my entry toward the end of the window and expect me to wind up in the middle of the pack this time. Or worse!
Thanks for your interest...for me its will a big pleasure to see you (Nelson and Brandon) in the next SCCT II Prize Tourney
