just use the normal .exe version, I've heard that there are problems with the current .dll version
Hi and thank for your message.
When you say: use the normal.exe version, you are taliking about Rybka 2.3.2a version??
I Think the file.dll is not compatible as the file.exe?
Have you installed the file in you pc, and work??
Thanks

Isn't the rybkaxx.dll only usable with Chess Assistant???
Or is it meant to work also with the Fritz-ChessBase GUI?
Or is it meant to work also with the Fritz-ChessBase GUI?
Yes, it's only for chessassistant. But the current .dll doesn't work in Chess Assistant, as far as I know, so just use the .exe file in every case :)
Ok, thanks ... I just will wait fot the Rybka 3.
Thanks again
Thanks again
Subject: Corrected Rybka 2.3.2a.dll file
New file rybka 2.3.2a.dll corresponds to rybka 2.3.2a UCI. We haven’t changed anything in the program. Version rybka 2.3.2a.dll can be used for connecting to Chess Assistant 9 or to the previous version Rybka 2 & Chess Openings 2006/2007.

Aha, I was not sure because of this topic:

So you can use both in Chess Assistant: the .dll and the .exe version...

Now I don't understand anything!:-(
I downloaded Rybkav2.3.2a.dll from Convekta on the 25/06/2007
Convekta sent a mail and proposed it again for download on the 05/07/2007.
I checked with "file compare", that both downloads were the same!
Is there now a new (more recent) download of Rybkav2.3.2a.dll?
I suggested some time ago to Convekta that they should offer zipped versions for download.
They even replied that it was a good idea! :-)
Unfortunately, they didn't follow through.
With zipped versions you can always check what the original date of the file is.
As far as I know valid verson of DLL was uploaded July-10.
Its size 4,354,048 bytes. Dated by June-15-2007

Thanks, Viktor, but I have received no notice (yet) of this new download possibility.
The size of my Rybkav2.3.2a.dll is 4,426,607 bytes.
Note on your "Dated by June-15-2007":
how do I get such a date, if you don't zip the file??? My date can only be the download date... :-)
