In spite of your "statistics" (4 games?!), the line is sound. :-)
yes, c4 is obvious and in my opinion the best move i wonder it hasn't been played before.
i think we are about to create a new interesting opening here, (that will never be played again?).
so lets be careful with our moves
c4 has been played before and black played c6: 0-1, Gimeno Royo Jose A - Roche Simon Miguel A (ESP), Zaragoza (Spain), 2005
4...Ne7
sorry to play such an ugly and expected rybka move but she is damn right here. after long analizing it by myself i also came to the conclusion that this should be the best move following all the opening rules i know about. i guess id never find that move but it solves most problems..the opening is already very tactical.
rybka is a monster (i remember someone else already mentioned that somewhere here in the forum)
please be careful with your answer there are a few completly different good options that all look very interesting
Others will have to respond, as I am out of town away from my "chess computer" for quite awhile. I responded on the last move because I remembered that one, but I don't remember any further, as I wasn't concentrating on this game much.

Qdxd5 (i might have another queen you did not know about, you can never know)
> Qdxd5 (i might have another queen you did not know about, you can never know)
And that gives me an idea, what about having a crazyhouse correspondence game on the future? With engines at the current stage human input becomes more important.
Why do some users quote the full text of the post they are replying to? Are they trying to fill up the database with useless information. Or does the forum require too little clicking, so they add a few useless operations :)

I had to click the topic link to see what you were talking about. The click would've been useless, but then I decided to reply to your post.
What is the point of your post, Vempele? Are you recommending full quoting of the full topic in each post, or are you just being funny and forgot the smilie?
> What is the point of your post, Vempele?
The way you posted it, it sounded like a random observation (until I navigated to the topic).
> Are you recommending full quoting of the full topic in each post
If this topic branch gets moved, it'll be useful to have context.
So: if your post is off topic, quote the preceding post if it's relevant (and unlikely to be moved) and you anticipate a discussion.
OK, these are good points, except it would be too much to quote the full post when you are pointing out that generally it serves no purpose at all.
> generally
Depends on your forum browsing style, I guess. I use forum_overview.pl?act=unread exclusively so I get less context than someone who uses act=new or visits each topic manually.
> it would be too much to quote the full post
Well, your original comment was a reply to a post that quoted a full post of
one sentence.
Too much for my logic circuits. It would blow a fuse.
>Depends on your forum browsing style, I guess. I use forum_overview.pl?act=unread exclusively so I get less context than someone who uses act=new or visits each topic manually.
+1
> Why do some users quote the full text of the post they are replying to?
I just quoted to what I was replying to, it happened to be the entire post. If all people quoted what they're replying to I guess I could use forum_overview.pl?act=new to navigate the board, but chances are, people would post "And that gives me an idea, blah blah" without quoting, so I'd have to enter the thread to see what gave them the idea, anyway.
> I just quoted to what I was replying to, it happened to be the entire post.
That's exactly when there is generally no need to quote at all. It's just additional work.
