I might consider doing this :) I am a bit busy with making a book right now but I can play fourth man on a team if they need one.

Why don't you and Nat12 see if Vempele or Soren would play as our teammate. Or if they both want to play since we do not have the room they can play on another team maybe with the deka who was interested.
I think that first the three current members of the team should decide how are we going to pick the moves? Democracy? Captain Dictatorship? Relay (nooo)? The first one moving gets their move in (j/k)? etc.
i think the idea is relay.i dont think Soren has the spare time for this.Vempele would be vey welcome to our team of 4.
Ok, Jonas said we could arrange a stronger method of choosing moves than relaying. Now, let's wait for more people to join team B with deka.

My laptop's fan broke; I only have a 2.4GHz P4 right now, and I don't even want to think about analyzing with it.
(And I'm going to prepare for a tournament once I get the laptop back. No time for a game in the near future).

Hey,Bobby i would love to play a Morra against c5,i know from experience how difficult it is to defend,i imagine Vytron feels the same.
I think that gambit equals an instant draw. I do not have enough quality games to give us an advatage as white. I would love to play against it as black though, it really all depends on the time control.

Hey Jonas, are teams free to arrange themselves how they wish or is this relay chess (one member of the team moves, then the next, then the next, etc.) and are team members allowed to discuss their moves with other team members?
every team can decide theirself how they want to move.
you can also join without team and ill put u in a team of more people who dont have a team.

As long as we stay within known theory, we make moves by turns without consulting. Thereafter the democracy ends and it is captain who decides how we operate. I'll have the honour of moving first upon which dalbertz and you make your move.
From now on we talk via pm-s only.

one question Jonas, i each team can decide what move to play,we cannot have this open discussion on the forum,otherwise our opponents would see our AN.this means we would be sending PMs to each other.i prefer relay chess for this reason,and this reson only.

we have only got 2 teams of 3 at the moment.maybe if we started this others would join in.i found relay fun although not ideal,maybe we could let guys not playing post their comments,NO AN.i for one would not take the slightest notice and i think this also applies to other members of our team.
we could make the rule that we have a special move order... but that would mean every player has to be online that day to play his move. thats what i dont like about it.

With mIRC we can have real time conversations, and sharing ideas in what was seems to be extremely powerful, on my last game against PortCitySlim we got stuck, I couldn't decide how to defend and Bobby C wasn't sure if all lines were winning, we would have needed to keep playing the game for weeks to know.
What we did was having a single mIRC session and play the game real time, in one day we solved all our doubts (but he didn't let me resign so we opened the game.) We could take advantage of chatting.

Anyway, IRC is a chatting network, there are many IRC Clients out there, I just like mIRC the best because... I think it's the best (for windows, of other OSes I've heard there are better alternatives), even after going REGISTER - NO - REGISTER! - NO! with it on every startup.
