This is really great for 52 cores!
It seems Vas made some serious changes in the depth issue! :-)
Mate on the horizon, Rybka wins CCT1 tremendously, my congratulations to Rybka team wholeheartedly!

The d6 square is firmly in hands of Ikarus ;-)
Only technical problems can stop us now :)
Don't tempt fate, Felix ;-)
:)
This one is starting to look like it is in the bag! The team just need to stay away of any techinal problems that can't be solved.
Rybka made a BOLD Statement by playing the Caro Kann!

Congratulations Rybka Team. Well Done. A well deserved victory
Thanks Damir, I know they were a bit hard on us when I accidentally knocked over my King in game 1, but all's well that ends well, we're not going to win any popularity contests as Vas himself once said. BTW we NEVER considered withdrawing, not even for a moment.
Best regards,
Nick

Congratulations to the Rybka team. This cluster Rybka is showing a NEW level of chess, can't wait till Rybka 4.Was this version close to Rybka 4 or was it just R3 on steroid hardware?
Well it was the cluster version, I don't know how that compares to what will be in R4, but it's better than R3 I would think. Maybe Vas or Lukas will comment.
Thanks Jeroen, and for your support on ICC. Your Aquarium book is fantastic, I will mix things up a little bookwise for the blitz tournament.
Thanks for posting the games, but is there any way to get the pgn´s with eval, time and expected move from Rybka side? This would be really fine.
And PVs from Rybka :-)
Yes I want to see the PV's also. That would give us a "look under the hood" to see what has changed. I am especially curious to see the evaluation of Rybka when opposite bishops were on board against DS as well as the evaluation of when it had to play against a bishop pair.
Great showing, everyone!
Many thanks Jason :)
Great work Nick and the rest of the team. Nerve-wracking at times for you !
Thanks Ray you're not kidding, Lukas and I need a holiday :) But still a lot of fun.
Great job Nick and everyone else. Rybka seems to have progressed quite a bit from R3 and that is great. I went through some of the games and play was exceptional. Although in the DS game I found a very easy draw if DS had exchanged rooks when it had a chance, if DS hadn't avoided the exchange we wouldn't have seen what has to be one of the most powerful endgame displays I have seen. The exchange sac against Diep was also very impressive, it sets a new standard to level of play. Things can only get better from here and that seems hard to fathom. Good luck with the blitz and hope no more internet problems.
Do you know when it will start? I mean blitz.
Nick,
For the record, Rybka won 7.5/9. Off the record, we all know Rybka won 8.5/9!!!
Congratulations!!!

Yes that's right Ricky .. hmm, need to do something about that draw ... Nelson?
Congrats to the Rybka team!
Great job Nick and Lukas for fighting through the problems and winning the tournament!
